Travancore Ayurveda Launches “Menoshrita” on International Women’s Day
A Structured Ayurvedic Hormonal Transition Program for Women 40+

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Travancore Ayurveda announced the launch of Menoshrita, a structured Ayurvedic hormonal transition program designed specifically for women navigating midlife changes.
Launched by Dr. Smita KattiGotur, Director of Travancore Ayurveda, Menoshrita addresses the often unspoken physical and emotional changes experienced by women aged 40 and above. These may include fatigue, sleep disturbances, weight gain, mood fluctuations, joint stiffness, and irregular cycles — all of which are part of a natural hormonal transition phase.
Unlike isolated symptomatic approaches, Menoshrita offers a personalised 30, 60, or 90-day care pathway based on detailed clinical assessment. The program integrates classical Ayurvedic therapies such as Abhyanga, Matra Vasti, Shirodhara, customised herbal formulations, and lifestyle guidance under medical supervision.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Smita KattiGotur said:
“For generations, women have silently adjusted to midlife changes, often believing something is wrong with them. The truth is — nothing is wrong. It is a natural hormonal transition. With Menoshrita, we have created a structured and dignified pathway that reassures women that it is okay, and that support is available. This program is not about treating a disease; it is about restoring balance during an important stage of life.”
By launching Menoshrita on Women’s Day, Travancore Ayurveda aims to encourage open conversations around hormonal transition and empower women to seek structured care without hesitation.
Menoshrita is now available across Travancore Ayurveda centres, with consultations open for women aged 38 and above who wish to better understand and support their midlife health journey.
