Hyderabad: Seeking to showcase and revive its tourism sector, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) participated in the three-day India International Travel Mart held in Hyderabad.
Shilpa Gupta, Additional Managing Director, MPTB speaking on the occasion said, “Participation in these travel marts connects us with prominent travel agents/operators on a common platform and helps showcase the tremendous tourism potential Madhya Pradesh possesses.”
MPTB is working strategically towards getting more domestic and international tourists, promoting new travel circuits in different segments to the tourist exploring heritage, culture, adventure, wildlife, spiritual, rural and wellness destinations. MP Tourism recently inaugurated “Jal Mahotsav” an adventure festival and is also planning to launch events like Go Heritage Run, Mandu Utsav, Raja Ram Vivah Utsav in the coming days.
With a forest area of approx 77,700 sq km, 11 National Parks, 24 Wildlife Sanctuaries and UNESCO world heritage sites, Madhya Pradesh is a State that reflects the true cultural heritage of India and a hotspot for all the wanderlusts, Shilpa said.
