Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao called upon the staff posted at Covid-19 ward in Government Hospital Siddipet to treat the patients with love and affection which will help them recover fast.

The Minister, who was on a visit to the Covid-19 hospital here on Sunday, urged the staff to comfort the patients coming to the hospital in addition to providing the best treatment. Asking them to attend to the patients whenever they need their services, Harish Rao also enquired about the sanitation and hygiene.

Since the patients expect comfort, the Minister said the government was planning to issue passes to the kin of patients so that they can be with their near and dear one and help them.

Hailing the services of staff posted at the Covid-19 ward, Harish Rao warned the administration will not hesitate to take action against irresponsible staff.

The Minister said private hospitals were sending patients to government hospitals when their condition turns worse. Accusing the private hospitals of keeping patients without providing proper treatment, he said they will initiate stern action against such hospitals.

Medical College Principal Tamila Arasu, Hospital Superintendent Jayasri, Doctors Kasinath, Chandar and Kranthi were present.
