Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A tribal youth from this district became a sensation on social media platforms, after he married two women he loved in a wedding attended by large number of people.

The groom Suryadev, it was said, fell in love with two women Lal Devi and Jalkar Devi, who incidentally were from different villages. The triangular love story went on for over three years and culminated in the wedding, after Suryadev succeeded in convincing not only his family members, but also parents of his two brides for the marriage.


Suryadev, a Raj Gond by birth, married his two beloved in a single venue and the wedding was attended by more than 500 people in the grooms. The wedding at the groom’s village Gumnur in Lingapur mandal on Thursday went viral on social media platforms. The videos and photographs and even the wedding card were shared widely on WhatsApp groups and facebook.

On social media platforms, there was lively discussion with some praising Suryadev for his ability to convince his family and his wives families and his bravado for marrying two women. However, some wondered whether the marriage would work out.
