Tribal Welfare School students protest accusing principal of harassment in Medak
Students of Tribal Welfare School in Medak blocked traffic on NG-765D protest agianst harassment by their principal and teachers in Medak. An inquiry into the allegations is launched
Medak: Students of Tribal Welfare Residential School staged a protest, blocking the NH-765D at Kowdipally on Tuesday morning, accusing the principal and another faculty member of harassing them. They raised slogans against the principal and staff.
The tribal students accused the principal of abusing them using their caste.The 10th class students further threatened to skip the board examinations unless the officials transferred the principal and other teacher since these two have been constantly harassing them.
The Kowdipally police reached the place and convinced the students to clear the road, as it resulted in a traffic jam. Meanwhile, the tribal welfare department officials have launched an inquiry into the incident.
