Tributes paid to martyrs on Police Commemoration Day across erstwhile Medak

In Siddipet, Collector P Venkatrami Reddy along with Commissioner of Police D Joel Davis paid floral tributes at martyr’s memorial on the premises of Government Degree College, Siddipet and took a guard of honour.

Siddipet/Sangareddy/Medak: The Police Commemoration Day was observed in a grand way across the erstwhile Medak district on Wednesday. The respective officials have felicitated the family members of police personnel who died in the line of duty in erstwhile Medak district. The family members turned emotional remembering their loved ones during the progamme.

In Siddipet, Collector P Venkatrami Reddy along with Commissioner of Police D Joel Davis paid floral tributes at martyr’s memorial on the premises of Government Degree College, Siddipet and took a guard of honour. Remembering the services of police officials, the Collector said that they cannot imagine how the society will function without the police department.


In Sangareddy, Superintendent of Police S Chandrashekar Reddy paid tribute to the martyred police personnel. He recalled the services of four police personnel who died while discharging duties in Sanagreddy over the years. Additiona SP K Srujana and others were present.
In Medak district, Additional Collector Venkateshwarlu, Additional Superintendent of Police Sitram, DSP Medak Krishna Murthy and others paid tributes at Martyrs memorial.
