Hyderabad: Hyderabad’s G Trisha ended the women’s Under-19 One Day Challenger Trophy in a blaze of glory as she hit 78 not out (116b, 10×4, 1×6) to steer India B to title triumph at RCA Academy Ground, Jaipur, on Sunday.
Chasing 141 for victory, the 15-year-old Trisha, who amassed 260 runs from three matches, had another successful opening partnership with skipper Anushka Sharma (54) in India’s commanding nine-wicket victory over India D in the final. The two put on 138 runs for the opening wicket.
Earlier, India D were bowled out for 140 in 48.5 overs. Trisha, bowling fastish spin, had figures of 10-3-21-1.
