TRS activists, jobless candidates celebrate KCR announcement in Adilabad
The jubilant members and activists gathered at important junctions of Adilabad, Mancherial, Nirmal and Kumar Bheem Asifabad district headquarters and celebrated the historical announcement by bursting crackers and distributing sweets.

Adilabad: Members, and activists of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the jobless candidates broke into celebrations following the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s announcement to take up recruitment of over 80,000 posts lying vacant with various departments, across the erstwhile Adilabad district on Wednesday.
The jubilant members and activists gathered at important junctions of Adilabad, Mancherial, Nirmal and Kumar Bheem Asifabad district headquarters and celebrated the historical announcement by bursting crackers and distributing sweets. They danced to drum beats and performed ksheerabhisekam to flex posters of Chandrasekhar Rao. They hailed him for filling up the posts and cheering the jobless candidates.
Jogu Premender, Adilabad municipal chairperson, expressed happiness over the move of the government and regularisation of 11,000 contract-based jobs. He said that Chandrasekhar Rao was striving hard for constructing Bangaru Telangana and was leaving no stone unturned to provide jobs to the unemployed as promised at the time of Telangana movement. He added that the jobless candidates would be indebted to Rao forever for taking up the massive recruitment drive.
Similarly, a posse of youngsters danced to drum beats and raised slogans hailing Chandrasekhar Rao over the announcement at Mukhra (K) village in Echoda mandal. Deepak G, one of the celebrators, told ”Telangana Today” that Chandrasekhar Rao had become messaih of the unemployed by making the announcement in Telangana Legislative Assembly. He observed that March 9 was a landmark day and it would be remain in annals of the history of Telangana.
In the meantime, members of Telangana Non-Gazitted Officials Association expressed gratitude to the chief minister for filling up the vacant posts and for regularising the contract-based employees. The association”s Mancherial chapter president G Srihari opined that the announcement would boost confidence of the jobless candidates. He added that the government had been employees-friendly since 2014. He cited offering 42 percent of fitment to government employees.
