Karimnagar: Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar on Tuesday said the TRS has emerged as a strong political force while Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was now an unstoppable political leader.
The Minister was speaking at a meeting with Jammikunta municipal councillors to discuss the celebration of the party’s ‘Jenda Panduga’ and instructed them to hoist TRS flags in every nook and corner on September 2 when the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for TRS Bhavan in New Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, Eshwar said Chandrashekhar Rao, who developed TRS into a strong force in the last 20 years, also developed Telangana as a role model for the entire country through development on all fronts in the last seven years. “Major irrigation projects like Kaleshwaram were constructed in a record time. All sections of people are enjoying the fruits of development. Chandrashekhar Rao is giving top priority for the security of the people,” he said.
The Chief Minister built the party headquarter, Telangana Bhavan, in upmarket Banjara Hills in Hyderabad within a short period after the formation of TRS. It developed confidence among the party workers as well as the public.
Later, Chandrashekhar Rao went ahead with his objective of achieving Statehood, the Minister said.
“The Chief Minister is now set to perform puja for construction of Telangana Bhavan in Delhi which will increase the self-respect of Telangana people in the national capital,” he said, adding that to coincide with the occasion, party workers should hoist party flags across the State since it is the heartbeat of the people.
Make ‘Jenda Panduga’ success: Nama
Khammam: TRS Lok Sabha floor leader and Khammam MP Nama Nageswara Rao has called upon party workers to make the party’s ‘Jenda Panduga’ success in the district.
In a statement here on Tuesday, he said the TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and working president KT Rama Rao are focused on strengthening the party at the grassroots level in the State by constituting village, mandal, district and State committees.
The party workers and leaders should participate in the flag festival enthusiastically in villages, towns across the erstwhile Khammam district on September 2 following the call given by the party working president, he said.
The cadres have the responsibility on their shoulders to take the welfare and development programmes being implemented by the TRS government for the past seven years into public, the MP said.
Chandrashekhar Rao has been giving equal importance to welfare and development, he said, adding that the Dalit Bandhu Scheme launched by the government was unique, aimed at progress and economic freedom of Dalits.
Similarly, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, 24-hour free power supply, construction of irrigation projects, Palle, Pattana Pragathi and other initiatives by the Chief Minister have brought a revolutionary change into the lives of farmers and villagers, he explained.
