Gadwal: Roads and Buildings Minister V Prashanth Reddy has appealed to graduates not to fall for BJP’s false propaganda against the the TRS government, and urged them to cast their vote for TRS candidate Vani Devi in the Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad Graduates constituency MLC elections.
“Incumbent BJP MLC N Ramachander Rao has failed on all fronts quarters there is no scope for him to address graduates’ issues in the future,’ the Minister said, addressing TRS party cadre at Alampur here on Tuesday.
Asking the party cadre to explain to the voters the advantages if TRS candidate Vani Devi gets elected in the elections, he said: “No State can match Telangana in terms of welfare and development programmes and this has to be taken note of by graduates.”
Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy said Vani Devi had vast experience in the field of education and assured that State government will address all issues pertaining to graduates and unemployed. “The Central government is selling many public sector units to private companies. In future, this move would affect job reservations meant for weaker sections,” said Niranjan Reddy.
Tourism Minister V. Srinivas Goud said if Vani Devi is elected, she will have direct access to take up graduates and unemployed issues with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao and initiate measures to get them resolved.
Addressing the meeting, Vani Devi said she was contesting the election since she was impressed by the Chief Minister’s vision and the welfare schemes launched by the TRS government. “In the past, barren lands used to greet people in erstwhile Palamuru but that is history. Now, farmers in the district are cultivating paddy and other crops in vast areas and reaping good profits, thanks to the 24-hour quality power supply to the farm sector, she said.
“Stand by the government which is working for the welfare of all sections. Provide me an opportunity to serve you and address your issues,” said Vani Devi.
