TRS is Team A of Telangana people, says KTR
The opposition parties and their leaders have run out of ideas and are levelling allegations of a political nexus between TRS party and other parties, said TRS working president
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is and will always remain Team A of Telangana people and will never be B team to any political party, TRS working president K T Rama Rao asserted on Thursday.
The opposition parties and their leaders have run out of ideas and are levelling allegations of a political nexus between TRS party and other parties. “While Congress accuses the TRS of being Team B of BJP, the saffron party in turn charges that we are Team B of Congress. We are not B teams to any party, and are Team A of Telangana people,” Rama Rao asserted at a ‘meet the press’ programme organised by the Hyderabad Press Club here.
When asked to comment on allegations that TRS was responsible for the Congress losing its base in the State and allowing BJP to gain a foothold, he said: “If the Congress is weak in the State, it is their internal matter. One must understand that it they are not good, they are bound to be reduced into a weak force.”
