Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) party leder from Karimnagar, Chalmeda Lakshmi Narsimha Rao has pledged to develop the Government Primary School in Malakpet village of Konaraopet mandal in Rajanna Sircilla district at a cost of over Rs 1.5 crore. Lakshmi Narsimha Rao called on the Municipal Administration minister K T Rama Rao and submitted proposals for the development of the school as per the wishes of his father Chalmeda Ananda Rao.
Lakshmi Narsimha Rao, a press release said, was responding to the recently launched government programme ‘Mana Vooru – Mana Badi’ asking civilians to come forward to improve the conditions of government schools in villages. Rao told the Minister that the primary school in Malakpet would be developed on par with corporate schools at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore and submitted proposals to this effect. KT Rama Rao appreciated the gesture and thanked Lakshmi Narsimha Rao, a press release said.
