Siddipet: A host of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders and elected representatives from erstwhile Medak district met Finance Minister T Harish Rao and congratulated him as Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao allotted him Health Ministry as an additional portfolio.

The State government had issued a GO on Tuesday allotting Health Ministry as an additional portfolio to him. Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, MLC Farooq Hussain, former Minister Fariduddin, former MLA Chintha Prabhakar, District Cooperative Marketing Chairman Malkapuram Shiva Kumar.

Several MLAs, MPPs, ZPTCs, Sarpanches, MPTCs and other leaders met Harish Rao at his residence in Hyderabad to congratulate him. There was hectic activity throughout the day at his residence. The Minister thanked all those who visited him. His followers from across the State made a beeline at his house to congratulate the Minister.
