TRS MPs stage a walk out from Rajya Sabha in protest against Modi
Holding placards and raising slogans, the TRS MPs demanded the Prime Minister to extend apologies to the people of Telangana for his comments.

Hyderabad: TRS MPs staged a walkout from the Rajya Sabha on Thursday in protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comments on Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill.

Holding placards and raising slogans, the TRS MPs demanded the Prime Minister to extend apologies to the people of Telangana for his comments.

Earlier, the TRS Parliamentary Party leader K Keshava Rao raised the issue of moving Privilege Motion against the Prime Minister in the House.

In reply, the Deputy Chairman Harivansh said the Privilege motion was referred to the Chairman and that he would take a decision on the issue.
