Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Tribal, Women and Child Welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathod on Wednesday asserted that the TRS always treated party workers as its family members unlike other national parties, by extending life insurance facilities to them.
The Minister, accompanied by Zilla Parishad chairperson Kova Laxmi, took part in a membership drive in Asifabad on Wednesday. Asifabad MLA Athram Sakku and Sirpur (T) legislator Koneru Konappa were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Satyavathi said the party will always protect its workers. She stated that the party was providing insurance coverage to offer social security as it considers them as its family members. She informed that the sum amount of insurance would be increased to give more financial benefit to the members.
The Minister advised the leaders to speed up the process of membership and to digitalise it. She stated that the insurance would be implemented from August 1. She said that she heartily congratulated those who took part in the membership drive. She expressed joy over the achievement of 48,000 memberships against the target of 50,000 set for the district.
Satyavathi further said that no national party was extending the insurance facility to its members. She stated that TRS would realise the objectives of the movement that it had taken up. She said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao instructed the officials concerned to grant funds to create roads as requested by the local MLA.
She said that Rao was striving hard to benefit more people under different initiatives of the government. She hoped that he would inaugurate the office of the TRS being constructed in district headquarters soon.
