Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi party social media cell has lodged a complaint with the Hyderabad Cybercrime police against a man for spreading misinformation about the party on social media.
In the complaint, Krishank Manne, TRS social media convener said one person, P Vinay Kumar Reddy, through his Facebook profile was posting old videos of Minister T Harish Rao and spreading fake news during the Huzurabad bypoll. Krishank asked the police to register a case and initiate legal action against Reddy, who claimed to be member of the ‘Armoor Kamala Dalam’. A case was registered and investigation is on, police said.
