Kothagudem: Government Whip and TRS district president Rega Kantha Rao expressed confidence that the party would win all the five Assembly seats in Kothagudem district during the next elections.

He inspected the under-construction TRS district office building here on Monday. Speaking to the media, he asked activists and leaders who took active part in the Telangana agitation to make collective efforts to strengthen the party in the district.

Stating that there were no groups in the district party, Kantha Rao said that the contributions of all those who fought for a separate statehood would be recognised in the days to come.

All the party leaders and cadres have to work hard for the party’s growth under the leadership of TRS chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Meetings at village, mandal and district level would be held to streamline the party’s affairs, he said.

The TRS government was working for the empowerment of all sections in the society, he said and added that every section was reaping the benefits of the welfare schemes being implemented by the State government.

Dalit Bandhu which was being implemented in every Assembly constituency in the State would help dalits financially and added that the process of selecting beneficiaries was under progress.

ZP Chairman Koram Kanakaiah, vice chairman K Chandrashekhar Rao, MLA Vanama Venkateshwar Rao, District Library Chairman Dindigala Rajender, its director More Bhasker, Municipal Chairperson Kapu Sitalakshmi and others were present.
