Karimnagar: The state government has allocated ten acres of land for the construction of Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Karimnagar. In this regard, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao handed over land allocation orders to BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar and TTD Hyderabad local advisory committee chairman GV Bhaskar Rao in the Assembly on Tuesday.
Kamalakar, in a statement, thanked the Chief Minister, who was developing Yadadri temple in a big way, for allocating ten acres of land in the middle of Karimnagar town for the construction of Venkateshwara Swamy temple. He promised to make available the temple to the devotees by completing construction works within one and half year with inspiration of Chandrashekhar Rao. Recent TTD board meeting held under the chair of its Chairman YV Subba Reddy approved the construction of Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Karimnagar. The minister also thanked TS Planning Board Vice Chairman B Vinod Kumar, Namaste Telangana CMD Divakonda Damodar Rao, GV Bhaskar Rao for striving hard for getting approval from TTD.
