Hyderabad: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) on Friday invited online applications from existing junior college managements (including composite colleges) for extension of provisional affiliation including sanction of additional sections for the academic year 2021-22.

Proposals for sanction of additional sections without providing accommodation, as required, would be summarily rejected, the Board said in a press release. The managements were asked to ensure all required documents were appended.

The Board informed the colleges that it would announce the list of affiliated private junior colleges to students and parent’s community before the beginning of the academic year 2021-22 so that they get time to enquire and confirm whether the college has an affiliation.

The college managements can upload online applications through the official website of the TS BIE www.tsbie.cgg.gov.in without a late fee from May 12 to 24. With a late fee of Rs.1,000 and Rs.3,000, applications can be uploaded up to May 31 and June 7 respectively. The managements can apply with a late fee of Rs.5,000 and Rs10,000 up to June 14 and 21 respectively. The applications will be also accepted with a late fee of Rs 15,000 and Rs.20,000 up to June 28 and July 5 respectively

At the request of the TPJMA, Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy has not enhanced fee rates during the academic year 2020-21 and agreed to implement from the academic year 2021-22. The details of affiliation, inspection and application fees are available in the online application form, it added.
