Hyderabad: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) said it would not hesitate to initiate stringent action on junior lecturers who have not reported for the Intermediate first year exams spot evaluation works, which commenced on November 6.

The Board on Wednesday said junior lecturers from government, government sector and private junior colleges having experience were appointed and requisitioned for Intermediate first year exams spot evaluation duty. The colleges were instructed to reorganise classes and relieve the junior lecturers as and when requisitioned.

According to the Board, some junior lecturers have not reported for spot evaluation duty to date.

“All the junior lecturers who have not reported and managements who have not relieved the individuals even after requisitioned, are informed that TS BIE will not hesitate to take stringent action against all defaulter junior lecturers/managements. Notices are issued to all defaulters and if they don’t report by Thursday morning, necessary disciplinary/penal action will follow,” the TS BIE said on Wednesday.
