Hyderabad: A total of 86,644 are expected to appear for the agriculture and medical stream of the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) 2021 which is slated to be held on Monday and Tuesday.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad which is organizing the entrance test in the computer-based mode has made elaborate arrangements. The test will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, and 3 pm to 5 pm at 105 centres including 82 in Telangana and 23 in Andhra Pradesh.

The candidates will be allowed into centres one hour before the commencement of the test and no candidate will be allowed into the centres even if they are late by a minute. Given the Covid-19 pandemic situation, students have been advised to take necessary safety precautions like sanitization of hands, wearing face masks and maintaining physical distance while travelling and at the test centre.

Further, the candidates are prohibited from carrying the electronic gadgets like mobile phones, calculators, watches etc., into the centres.

The university has asked the parents/guardians, if any, who are accompanying the candidates to stay away from the test centres to avoid the gathering/crowd from commencement of exam till the exam is over.

Earlier, out of 1,64,964 registered candidates, 89.71 per cent students appeared for the engineering test conducted on August 4, 5 and 6.
