TS EAMCET final counselling in October-end
AI and Data Science courses get good response in earlier counselling sessions
Hyderabad: The final phase of engineering admission counselling through the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) 2021 is likely to commence in the last week of October.
Following the final phase of engineering admissions, the classwork for the first semester is likely to begin from November 15. A detailed schedule will be issued after the TS EAMCET 2021 admission committee meeting in a day or two.
“We are waiting for at least one-two rounds of admission counselling for the IITs, NITs and IIITs to get over so that students who do not get admissions there can take part in the TS EAMCET 2021 counselling. The TS EAMCET admission committee meeting will be held in a couple of days and a schedule will be released,” an official said.
During the first phase of engineering admissions, out of a total of 78,270 seats available in the convenor quota this year, 61,169 were allotted and 46,322 seats have been confirmed by students.
The seats in the emerging technologies have received good response from students.
While there were 583 seats in the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science course, 540 were allotted and 408 have been confirmed by students. Likewise, out of 295 allotted seats, 237 students confirmed their seats in the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning course.
