Hyderabad: Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy said all details pertaining to intermediate examinations syllabus, exam schedule, and practical exams would be clarified in a week.
In tune with syllabus related to different national level entrance exams, clarity would be given on the syllabus of the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, she said.
The Education Minister on Tuesday convened a meeting with managements of private schools, junior, degree and professional colleges and Hyderabad Schools Parents Association on reopening of the educational institutions from February 1.

Speaking to media persons, the Education Minister said all private educational institutions managements have extended their support for reopening of the institutions from February 1. As per instructions of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, all necessary safety measures against Covid-19 were being put in place for commencing physical classwork for classes IX and above, she said.
The Minister said there was no pressure being exerted on the parents to send their wards to schools and students would be permitted into the schools only after parents give their consent letters.
On the request of private school managements to charge sanitation fee, she said the issue would be taken to the notice of the Chief Minister.
Responding to a query, Sabitha Indra Reddy said there is a plan to take action against the private schools which violated the GO 46. “There is a fee violation case against 12 schools in the court. We may not take immediate action but there is a plan to initiate action against the schools,” the Education Minister said.
Special Chief Secretary to Government, Education, Chitra Ramachandran, Commissioner of Technical and Collegiate Education, Navin Mittal, Commissioner of Intermediate Education and Board of Intermediate Education Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel, and Director of School Education A Sridevasena among other officials participated in the meeting.
