Hyderabad: The Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited (TS-Transco) has increased the rate of Dearness Allowance (DA) to all its employees and artisans and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners and family pensioners by 3.007 per cent.
As against the DA rates of 16.158 per cent from July 2020, the Transco has now revised the rates to 19.165 per cent and the same revised rates would be applicable for pensioners and family pensioners too.
In an order issued here on Wednesday, TS-Transco Chairman and Managing Director D. Prabhakar Rao said the revised rate of 19.165 per cent would come into effect from January 1, 2021 for employees, artisans, pensioners and family pensioners.
He said the DA arrears as per increased rates for January and February 2021 would be paid in cash along with salary for the month of March 2021 payable in April 2021 to all the employees and artisans.
Similarly, the DR arrears as per increased rates for January and February 2021 would be paid in cash along with pension for the month of March 2021 payable in April 2021 to all pensioners, Prabhakar Rao said.
He said the DA so calculated would be rounded off to nearest rupee and DR to the next higher rupee.
