Hyderabad: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) Vice Chairman-I Prof. R Limbadri has been appointed as the officiating Chairman of the TSCHE. An order to this effect has been issued by the State government on Monday.
TSCHE Chairman Prof. T Papi Reddy handed over the charge to Prof. Limbadri here on Tuesday.
Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, Prof. Limbadri expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, IT Minister KT Rama Rao, Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy, Roads and Buildings Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy and MLC K Kavitha for entrusting the position of TSCHE Chairman to him.
A professor of Public Administration in the Osmania University (OU), Prof. Limbadri who has 28 years of teaching experience, held various administrative positions including TSCHE Vice Chairman, OSD, OU, registrar of the Telangana University, Nizamabad, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Telangana University etc. Under his supervision, 10 research scholars have received their PhDs and five got MPhil degrees. Presently, Prof. Limbadri is supervising eight research scholars.
After completing MA in Public Administration from the OU in 1988, Prof. Limbadri did his MPhil in 1990 and PhD in 1993 from the same university.
