TSPSC Chairman and its three members to retire on Dec 17

Hyderabad: The Chairman of Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), Prof Ghanta Chakrapani along with three other TSPSC members are set to retire on December 17 after completing their term of six years. Apart from Chairman, Prof Chakrapani, the other three members who are retiring include C Vittal, Dr B Chandravathi and Dr Mohd Mateenuddin Quadri.

A Government Order (GO Ms No 168) to this effect was released by Chief Secretary, Somesh Kumar on Monday. “Under clause (2) of the Article 316 of the Constitution of India, Chairman and members of TSPSC shall cease to hold the office on the afternoon of December 17, 2020 on completing the term of six years,” the GO said.


On Monday, the TSPSC Chairman, Prof Ghanta Chakrapani also took to social media platform Twitter to announce the development. “Completed  my six years term as Chairman of TSPSC and retiring on December 17,” he tweeted.
