Hyderabad: A TSRTC bus went out of control and hit a telephone pole at Mehdipatnam here on Friday afternoon.

The bus was carrying about 10 passengers at the time of the mishap. None of them was hurt, but the electric pole was slightly damaged. The driver of the bus proceeding from Mehdipatnam towards Langar Houz lost control of the vehicle when it reached Olive Hospital and crashed into the telephone pole on the left side.

The Langar Houz police reached the spot and with the help of a crane, removed the bus and cleared the traffic. They said a brake failure was suspected to have led to the mishap.
