Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation on Friday said that it will offer its buses on hire to private parties visiting Shiva temples across Telangana on Maha Shivratri on March 1.
People wanting to hire the services can call up 040-3010 2829/040- 6815 3333, said the TSRTC vice-chairman and managing director V.C. Sajjanar. However, there must be over 30 passengers on a trip.
The Shiva temples in the city and across the districts including the Kesaragiri Kshetram at Keesaragutta will be teeming with lakhs of devotees on Maha Shivratri. All arrangements are being made for the jatara scheduled to be held in Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple, Vemulwada, from February 28 to March 2.
In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, district administration and temple authorities have taken all precautionary measures to check the spread of the virus and focus more on sanitation.
