Mancherial: Telangana State Special Police 13th Battalion-Gudipet Commandant P Venkataramana was selected to be honoured with the Prime Minister Medal for the year 2026 in recognition of his outstanding services to the department. His name was included in the list of recipients of the medal released by the government on Monday.

Venkataramana expressed happiness on being chosen for the prestigious medal. He said that the recognition had enhanced his responsibility and inspired him to render better services to the department. He was congratulated by colleagues and staff of the battalion.
