Hyderabad: Bhukya Madhukar, an Assistant Engineer of TSSPDCL in Nagole, was caught at his office by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) when he allegedly demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 15,000 from a complainant, R Pradeep Kumar Reddy, a private electrical contractor.
The bribe was demanded for issuing work completion report and forwarding it to the TSSPDCL ADE. The ACB officials recovered the tainted amount from Madhukar and produced him before the special court for ACB cases after which he was remanded to judicial custody.
