Hyderabad: Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) students bagged five gold medals in various categories in the South-Zone leg of the nationwide talent hunt golf tournament, conducted by the Youth Affairs and Sports Ministry of India, in Kolar, Karnataka on Thursday.
Anusha (Nancharla), Amulya (Thorrur), Mukul (Nalkhal), Pragathi (Adilabad) and Akhila (Yellandu) clinched gold while Naveena (Saroornagar) and Vignesh (Chandur) bagged silver in the tournament.
Amulya played the best round by shooting 76, four over par in the tournament. Meanwhile, Anusha won the hole-in-one.
Results:
Gold: Anusha (Category-C), Amulya (Category-B), Mukul (Category-B), Pragathi (Category-A), Akhila (Category-B);
Silver: Naveena (Category-B) and Vignesh (Category-B).
