TT Impact: GHMC begins development works at Errakunta on NH 765
The GHMC has begun development and beautification works at Errakunta on NH 765 after a newspaper report highlighted poor road conditions. Workers were seen clearing weeds and sand from the divider to prepare the area for planting flowers and grass.
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has initiated developmental works at Errakunta on NH 765 after the condition of the thoroughfare, which is part of Jalpally municipality, was highlighted in these columns.
On December 14, a report was published in ‘Telangana Today’ highlighting the lack of development on the Errakunta to Pahadishareef falling on the NH 765. The report highlighted how the local municipal officials were maintaining a callous attitude when it came to improving the road conditions and taking up beautification works.
On Monday, several workers were seen clearing the weed and also sand dumped on the road divider at Errakunta. The supervisor said that the sand and weeds are being removed to plant flower saplings and carpet grass.
