Hyderabad: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Himayathnagar temple management is making elaborate arrangements for the convenience of devotees visiting the temple on Tuesday, on the auspicious occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi.
The temple management will facilitate darshan for devotees from 1 am on Tuesday. Darshan will continue till 10 pm, with short breaks during the day for the performance of daily rituals and sevas for Lord Venkateswara, said Local Advisory Committee president N Shankar Goud at a press conference on Sunday.
To avoid inconvenience to devotees, VIPs and other guests will be provided darshan from 1 am to 6 am on Tuesday. This, he said, would ensure that Sarva Darshan devotees visiting the temple during the day are not subjected to any inconvenience.
“Even as the Lord’s darshan commences at 1 am on Tuesday early morning, all the sevas, including Ekantham, Thomala Seva and Sudhi and Ekantham at 10 pm in the night, will be conducted as per the schedule,” Shankar Goud said.
The temple management said that nearly 25,000 devotees had visited the temple for darshan on Vaikunta Ekadasi last year. Considering the expected rush, all arrangements are being made to ensure hassle-free darshan for devotees. Sufficient buttermilk and drinking water are being arranged, said TTD AEO Ramesh.
He appealed to devotees to park their vehicles at locations identified by the traffic police and cooperate with the temple management.
