TTD makes arrangements for New Year, Vaikunta Ekadasi at Himayat Nagar, Jubilee Hills temples
On New Year's Day, devotees will be allowed to participate in Sarva darshanam at the temples starting from 6 a.m. Last year, approximately 15,000 devotees visited the Himayathnagar temple, while nearly 40,000 visited the Jubilee Hills temple on the same day.

Hyderabad: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is making elaborate arrangements at Himayathnagar and Jubilee Hills temples for the convenience of devotees visiting the temples for darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara on New Year day and Vaikunta Ekadasi on January 10.On the New Year day, devotees would be permitted for Sarva darshanam at the temples from 6 a.m. onwards. Last year, about 15,000 devotees had darshan at Himayathnagar temple and nearly 40,000 at the Jubilee Hills temple on the New Year day.
Similarly, 25,000 devotees had darshan at Himayathnagar temple and 35,000 at the Jubilee Hills temple on the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi. Anticipating huge turnout of devotees this year, elaborate arrangements were being made at both the temples, said TTD Assistant Executive Officer (AEO) U Ramesh. Addressing media persons here on Monday, the AEO said on the Vaikunta Ekadasi on January 10, Vaikuntadwara Darshan would be provided for the devotees from 3.30 am onwards and would continue till late in evening.
Provision of badam milk, drinking water in the queue lines, and free food distribution was also being made at the temples for the convenience of devotees. Considering the parking constraints at the temples, the TTD had appealed the law and order and traffic police to cooperate with the management, he said. The AEO also urged devotees arriving at the temples in four wheelers to cooperate with the police and temple staff and avoid any parking issues.
In connection with the Vaikunta Ekadasi celebrations, Vishnu Sahasranama parayanam, instrumental (classical) music concert, Annamayya keertanas bhajan, vocal music concert and other programmes were being arranged at the Jubilee Hills temple, he added.
