Hyderabad: In a significant development, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has agreed to accept recommendation letters from Telangana public representatives for VIP and special darshans of Lord Venkateswara at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). He wrote a letter to his Telangana counterpart A Revanth Reddy in this regard.

In response, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Endowments Minister Konda Surekha and others thanked Chandrababu Naidu and TTD chairman BR Naidu for the gesture. In recent weeks, several leaders from Telangana have urged the TTD administration to allow recommendation letters from their State’s representatives for darshan privileges.

Accordingly, two recommendation letters will be accepted each week for VIP break darshan and two for special darshan. This will be allowed on any two days between Monday and Thursday. These provisions will be applicable to recommendation letters issued by Telangana MPs, MLAs and MLCs.
