TTD to construct guest house in Kondagattu
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has decided to construct a 100-room guest house and a 2,000-seating-capacity hall at Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy temple. The Rs 190-crore project follows a request made during AP Deputy CM Pavan Kalyan’s visit.

Jagtial: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) decided to construct a 100 room capacity guest house and 2000 seating capacity hall on Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy temple premises.
In this regard, TTD reportedly passed a resolution in its board meeting recently. However, temple authorities have not received any official communication so far.

visited Kondagattu temple on June 29 and performed special poojas since Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy is his favourite god.
During his visit, temple authorities and priests brought his notice that devotees were facing troubles due to lack of guest houses at the shrine.
They gave a representation to Pavan Kalyan requesting him to take initiative for the construction of a 100 rooms capacity guest house and 2000 seating capacity hall through TTD. He responded positively.
Temple priests and local MLA Medipally Satyam brought the issue to the notice of AP deputy CM on a few occasions.
In October, TTD engineering department officials visited the shrine and examined land in two places one is beside ghat road and another near JNTU engineering college. Finally, the site located beside ghat road has been finalized.
Within a fortnight, Kondagattu temple authorities allocated the land in survey no 362/1 for the construction of the guest house and hall and wrote a letter to TTD.
TTD, in its recent executive council meeting, reportedly passed a resolution for the construction of a guest house in Kondagattu by spending Rs 190 crore. It is also decided to release Rs 35 crore in the first phase.
Temple EO Krishna Rao said that so far, they have not received any official communication from TTD.
A famous temple in Telangana, Kondagattu is located on Karimnagar-Jagtial main road in Mallial mandal.
Devotees from different parts of the state as well as adjacent states such as Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka visit the shrine and have darshan of the presiding deity.
Besides regular events, two big festivals will be held in the shrine every year one is Hanuman Chinna Jayanthi and another is Hanuman Pedda Jayanthi.
On the occasion of chinna jayathi, a three-day jatara will be celebrated in April. After one month, Pedda Jayanthi will be held wherein about two lakh devotees participate.
In recent decades, the shrine became famous for Hanuman deeksha on the line of Ayyappa temple in Kerala. Hanuman devotees, who take deeksha in different places, will end it at Kondagattu temple on the occasion of jayanthi celebrations.
