Hyderabad: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has decided to release the online quota of darshan tickets for February.
The Rs 300 Special Entry Darshan (SED) tickets will be released at 9 am on Friday, while the Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) tokens for the common pilgrims will be released at the same time on Saturday.
TTD has made it mandatory for all devotees to have a negative Covid-19 test report or double vaccination certificate to offer prayers in the Tirumala temple. Although the rule has been in place since October, some devotees reportedly turned up without the vaccination and the negative test reports.
In the wake of Omicron spreading rapidly in the state, the temple body appealed to devotees to come up with documents for the health and safety of devotees as well as TTD employees.
