Hyderabad: Tungabhadra Warriors scored a six-wicket win against Bhimavaram Bulls in the Andhra Premier League T20 cricket championship at Dr YSR Stadium in Kadapa on Saturday.
Batting first, Bulls scored 153 for nine in 20 overs, with TV Sai Sravan (50, 32b, 6×4, 1×6) being the top scorer, while N Sai Charan (3/30) was the pick of the bowlers for Warriors.
In reply, Warriors chased down the target in 18 overs, with CR Gnaneshwar (75, 56b, 9×4, 2×6) and KSS Jayanth (46, 33b, 5×4, 2×6) batting with authority. Ch Raviteja (3/34) bowled well for the losers.
CR Gnaneshwar was named Player of the Match.
The scores: Bhimavaram Bulls 153/9 in 20 overs (TV Sai Sravan 50, B Munish Varma 35, N Sai Charan 3/30) lost to Tungabhadra Warriors 154/4 in 18 overs (CR Gnaneshwar 75, KSS Jayanth 46, Ch Raviteja 3/34).
