Suryapet: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy on Sunday called on TRS leaders and workers to strive and turn every village in the district into a fortress of the ruling party.
Speaking at a preparatory meeting held at Suryapet to discuss the constitution of TRS committees from village level to district level, Jagadish Reddy said that the nature of the government was completely changed in the State after TRS came to power. The other States in the country were also adopting the administration model of our Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Several welfare schemes particularly Rythu Bandhu, which were being implemented by the TRS government in the State, have become a role model to the country, he added.
He said that every house in all villages was benefiting from at least one welfare scheme. Hence, the TRS members should explain to the people about the welfare scheme and development programme of the state government. We should ignite a question in the minds of the people whether they were any other political party than TRS in the state as the TRS government is working for the welfare of sections of the people. Irrespective of politics, the State government has been implementing welfare schemes and ensuring transparency in the selection of the beneficiaries.
ZPTCs, MPTCs, MPPs and Surpanches belongs to TRS attended the preparatory meeting. Rajya Sabha member Badugula Lingaiah Yadav, TRS state general secretary T Ravinder Rao and others also attended the meeting.
