Hyderabad: The Tappachabutra police arrested two persons who allegedly killed their father three days ago.
The victim, Ali Hussain Khan (67), a resident of Talim Amlapur area in Tappachabutra, was attacked with an iron rod by his elder son Amjed Ali Khan at their house on Monday. “Amjed Ali said his father had insulted him in front of the family on many instances, so he attacked him with an iron road leading to his death,” Tappachabutra Inspector G Santosh Kumar said.
The police arrested Amjed Ali and his younger brother Arshad Ali, who was held for helping his brother hush up the murder. “Despite knowing about the murder, Arshad Ali Khan did not inform the police and tried to help his brother and mislead us,” the Inspector said, adding that a case under Section 302 and 201 of Indian Penal Code was registered against them.
