Hyderabad: The Keesara police raided a brothel house and arrested two organisers apart from rescuing a Bangladeshi woman at Godumakunta village on Sunday night.
The arrested persons were K Kumara Swamy from ECIL and E Aruna Kumari Patro of Godumakunta. According to the police, Kumara Swamy, who was earlier arrested by the Crime Investigation Department officials in a similar case, used to procure women from agents in Mumbai and other places for prostitution and was providing shelter in Keesara with Aruna Kumari’s support.
They were clandestinely organizing the flesh trade from a rented house in a residential colony and also took victims to various places as per requests from customers. All their transactions were online to evade the police.
“The woman from Bangladesh, who was ill, had come to India recently and was lured into flesh trade by an agent in Kolkata. Two days ago, she was brought to Hyderabad and was taking shelter at Aruna Kumari’s house,” police said, adding that following a tip-off, the trio was caught while they were proceeding to Boduppal to attend to customers.
