Two arrested for stealing liquor from wine shop in Adilabad
Two persons were arrested in Bela mandal centre for stealing liquor and cash from the same wine shop they had targeted earlier. Police seized Rs 2.40 lakh and alcohol worth Rs 15,000. The accused confessed to committing the theft soon after getting bail.

Adilabad: Two persons were arrested for allegedly stealing liquor from the same wine shop from which they had decamped with alcohol one and a half months ago in Bela mandal centre on Tuesday. Police seized cash Rs 2.40 lakh and alcohol worth Rs 15,000 from them.
Jainath Inspector G Shravan said Tekam Joshva alias Sachin and Shinde Ajay, both belonging to Ganeshnagar in Bela mandal headquarters, were apprehended for lifting the liquor and cash Rs 2.57 lakh after gaining access to the outlet on the night of December 7.
During interrogation, Joshva and Ajay confessed to committing the crime to make a fast buck in short-cut ways. They admitted to targeting the outlet after getting released on bail recently. They revealed that they had spent Rs 17,000 from the stolen amount.
On October 29, Pusam Narayana, Ajay and Joshva were taken into custody on charges of decamping with alcohol bottles worth Rs 13,400 and cash Rs 41,930 from the same wine shop.
