Two arrested in Asifabad for smuggling desi liquor worth Rs 63,000 from Maharashtra
Two men from Chandrapur, Maharashtra, were arrested in Kumram Bheem Asifabad for smuggling 1,050 miniature bottles of banned desi liquor worth Rs 63,000. The Task Force intercepted them on a tip-off and learnt they were supplying a local contact.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Two persons were arrested for smuggling banned desi liquor from Maharashtra to Kagaznagar on Tuesday. Police seized 1,050 miniature bottles, each containing 90 ml of illicit liquor, worth Rs 63,000 from their possession.
Task Force Inspector Rana Prathap said Vishal and Dinesh Mitra, both from Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, were apprehended while committing the offence, following a tip-off. The duo admitted that the bottles were meant to be delivered to one J Srikanth from Kagaznagar town.
