Two arrested in Hyderabad for selling fake educational certificates to job aspirants

Cyberabad police arrested two men in Hyderabad for running a fake educational certificate racket targeting overseas job aspirants. The accused issued 46 fake certificates, enabling 24 people to travel abroad. Certificates were sourced from a contact in Vijayawada.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police arrested two persons who were allegedly selling fake educational certificates to foreign job aspirants.

The police seized several fake educational certificates, mobile phones, and other documents from them.


The arrested are A Harish and M Mahesh, both of whom were running Sri Vyas Consultancy at Kukatpally.

According to the police, Harish and Mahesh were arranging certificates for people planning to go abroad for higher studies or jobs. The police found that so far they had provided educational certificates to 46 people, and using them, 24 people had travelled abroad.

The duo was sourcing the certificates from one Mohan of Vijayawada. A case is registered.
