Two booked for phone snatching, abusing and assaulting youth in Adilabad
Two men were booked in Adilabad’s Mavala mandal for allegedly assaulting a group of youngsters and snatching their mobile phones over accusations of objectionable photography. The incident occurred at a local bakery and involved verbal and physical abuse.
Adilabad: Two persons were booked for allegedly snatching mobile phones of youngsters in Mavala mandal centre on Tuesday.
Adilabad DSP Jeevan Reddy said a case was registered against Rallabandi Mahender and Santosh for forcibly taking phones from Shaik Salman and his friends citing they clicked objectionable photographs and thrashing and abusing the two at a bakery in the town on Monday. The two sent the girls, friends of Salman, out of a bakery.
Reddy warned that stringent action would be initiated against those who commit unlawful activities and or causing inconvenience to the public.
