Hyderabad: Two children got a new lease of life after they were enrolled in the Don Bosco Navajeevan Child Care Centre on Wednesday. This was after a citizen pointed out their plight to IT Minister KT Rama Rao.
It was Karthik, 10, who was roaming around Gandhi Hospital, that first caught the attention of a Twitter user, Robin Zaccheus, who clicked a picture, saying that the boy was begging since his mother was unwell. The Minister responded, asking his office to take care of the child. Following this, GHMC Secunderabad zonal commissioner Srinivas Reddy rushed to the spot, where he found the nine-year-old Bhanuprasad also roaming around like Karthik.
Both were enrolled in the Don Bosco Navajeevan Child Care Centre.
