Two die in a road accident in Jagtial
According to police, residents of Chittapur of Mallapur mandal, Singarapu Pochaiah (60) and Godur Shankar (42) went to their relatives’ home in Pathadamrajapalli to attend a function on Friday afternoon.
Jagtial: Two persons died in a road accident that took place in between Pathadamrajapalli-Mallapur mandal headquarters on Friday night.
According to police, residents of Chittapur of Mallapur mandal, Singarapu Pochaiah (60) and Godur Shankar (42) went to their relatives’ home in Pathadamrajapalli to attend a function on Friday afternoon.
After attending the function, they were returning to their village at 11 pm and they met with an accident. The duo, who received severe head injuries as they fell on the road, died on the spot.
Though the reason for the accident is not yet to known, villagers suspect that a tractor coild.have hit their bike.
Bodies have been shifted to hospital for postmortem. Investigation is on.
