Jagital: Two persons died in a road accident that near Veerapur of Raikal mandal on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred when a sand tractor rammed into a trolley auto coming from the opposite direction around 6 pm.
Two labourers Erumalla Gangaram (42) of Ayodhya of Raikal mandal and Sriramula Bhumeshwar (43), Armoor died on the spot. According to police, the deceased loaded centering material in their trolley auto at Allipur and were proceeding to unload the material at Allipur.
When they reached Veerapur, their vehicle was hit by a sand tractor coming from the opposite direction. Police registered a case.
Bodies have been shifted to Jagitial government hospital for autopsy.
