Two die in road accident in Peddapalli
The incident occurred when a speeding car rammed into the rear side of a moving lorry on Rajiv Rahadari at around 11 pm.
Peddapalli: Two persons died in a road accident near Chinnakalwala of Sultanabad mandal in Peddapalli district late on Friday night.
The incident occurred when a speeding car rammed into the rear side of a moving lorry on Rajiv Rahadari at around 11 pm. Srinath (40) and Satyanarayana (50), residents of Peddapalli, died on the spot.
According to police, Srinath and Satyanarayana, who are working as assistants in a rice mill in Peddapalli, were going to Karimnagar in a car. In an attempt to overtake the lorry, the car wherein the victims were traveling, rammed into it. The car was damaged beyond recognition.
Knowing about the incident, Sultanabad police rushed to the spot and removed bodies stuck in the car. The bodies were shifted to Sultanabad hospital for postmortem.
