Two Excise officials from Adilabad win prizes in state-level sport meet
Two officials from the erstwhile Adilabad Prohibition and Excise unit, Jyothikiran and Zulfikar Ahmed, won top prizes at a two-day state-level sports meet in Hyderabad. Deputy Commissioner P Raghuram congratulated them for their achievements, noting that their success brought recognition to the unit.
Adilabad: Jyothikiran and Zulfikar Ahmed, two officials working with the Prohibition and Excise department’s erstwhile Adilabad unit won prizes in a two-day sports meet that concluded in Hyderabad on Sunday.
While Jyothikiran achieved the first place in badminton singles and doubles, Zulfikar secured the first prize in chess and carrom.
Prohibition and Excise Deputy Commissioner P Raghuram congratulated the officials for shining in the state-level event and bringing recognition to the unit.
